We believe you should know what data we collect when you are using the Viewfinder Preview iPhone App, how we use it and also what control you have over the collection and usage of this data.
Information we collect
We collect anonymous usage data while you use the app. We may store details of the sections of the app you visit, the options you have enabled, the functionality you use and any errors that may occur during usage. If you do not want to share this data there is an option on the Settings page of Viewfinder Preview to disable the sharing of it.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you while you are using Viewfinder Preview.
How we use the information we collect
This information is only ever used in an aggregated manner and used to identify features that may need improving, or help develop new features. We rely on Google Analytics for Firebase to collect this data. You can find out more about how Google may use this data here www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. We never use this information to provide personalised ads.
If you allow Viewfinder Preview to use the iPhone location services then a location will be stored with your photos. This location is only ever stored on your device. It is never sent to a server with the one exception of when converting location coordinates to a user readable address, your location will be sent to an Apple server.
When you use the share option in Viewfinder Preview you are only sending data to the destination service you select, be it Facebook, Twitter, email or any other third party service. Your photos and associated metadata are never transferred to our servers in any situation.
